The house at 928 Route 96 was built in 1845 for Jonathan Swift. It includes cobblestone barns. Structures are built of field stones. Richard Palmer blog.

The adjoining barns [to the home] were erected in the next decade and make this a unique complex. With the help of Carl Schmidt, the restoration was completed in the late 1960's.
